The idol of Sri Dwarkadhish is, made from snow-white Makarana marble, 4.5 feet tall and no words can describe the expressions on the face of the Lord. Thanks to the artists from Jaipur who carved this beautiful idol and poured Chaitanya into it. The main shrine of the temple is hexagonal and has three main doors. Lord Dwarkadhish is standing on a marble platform which is directly linked to the place of foundation through a shaft which is filled with hundreds of notebooks containing the Japa “Om Namo Bhagawate Vasudevay” written therein from devotees all over the world and a handful of currency coins representing all the major countries.

Sri Leela Samadhi Mandir is situated at the ground floor of the temple which is also hexagonal in shape and has three different levels. About hundred devotees at a time can meditate here. Samadhi Mandir is also made available for prayers, collective reciting/chanting purposes.

Temple is open every day from 8.00 A.M. to 8.00 P.M. Except Fridays, when it is open from 8:00 A.M. till 8:30 P.M. This is our habitual schedule:

  • 7:00  Morning Buddha Pooja followed by Chanting of Seth Pirith
  • 7:30 AM  Breakfast for Monks
  • 8:00 AM  Study
